Arbitration

Arbitration

Arbitration is a form of alternative dispute resolution where a neutral third party (the arbitrator) reviews evidence and arguments from both sides and makes a binding decision. In the employment context, arbitration agreements are increasingly common as a way to resolve workplace disputes without going to court. Arbitration is typically faster and less expensive than litigation, though employees may have fewer procedural protections. A PEO can help establish fair arbitration policies that protect both the employer and employees.
