Affirmative Action
Affirmative action refers to policies and practices designed to increase representation of underrepresented groups in employment. Federal contractors and subcontractors with contracts of $50,000 or more and 50+ employees are required to develop written affirmative action programs (AAPs). A PEO can assist with developing compliant AAPs, maintaining required records, and ensuring hiring practices align with federal guidelines.
